A gelato bar, a home decor and gift shop, and an equipment rental service are the businesses coming to town. Last week, the city approved a sale and redevelopment agreement with Wine Not, LLC. The company plans to invest about $250,000 in the location at 2023 Washington Street. The three enterprises will be housed under one roof. Seasonal outdoor seating will be available as well.

This will be a second store for Briars & Brambles; the first is located in Crivitz. Inside the shop, Buckets Gelato Bar will serve seasonal flavors and sample flights, which can be enjoyed on the outdoor patio. Explore Two Rivers Rentals will offer equipment to traverse waterways and trails, including kayaks, e-bikes and golf carts.

Principals in Wine Not are Curt and Jean Andrews and Barry and Gina Krahn of Two Rivers, who are also developing Cool City Brewing Company in the former Wells Fargo Bank building on West Park Street.
