Krall Half Marathon
August 21 @ 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Walk, run, or Krall 13.1 miles through the picturesque Point Beach State Forest.
The marathon is dedicated to the legacy of Lenita Krall, a wife and mom of four with a passion for everything she loved–including running and bringing people together. In 2014, she organized the first Krall Half Marathon, an unofficial fun run with her friends. Lenita battled cancer and passed away in 2020. Her friends and family are picking up where she left off, with the hopes of continuing something that she loved.
The marathon begins at Walsh Field and follows the Rawley Point Trail to the campground in Point Beach State Forest. The turn-around point is in the PBSF parking lot near the lodge. Supporters can park there to cheer on runners! The route ends where it started back at Walsh Field.
