Explore and push the boundaries of wood type at this two-part virtual workshop June 26 and July 10. Molloy is a freelance designer, artist and professor of graphic design at Easter Michigan University.

Learn ways to use a CNC router to experiment with the creation of wood type, key terminology for using a CNC router, and how to plan a design for execution and prepare a file for machining. Get useful tips for designing, prototyping and fabricating wood type.

Get the opportunity to create your own wood type creations (whatever can be created out of two 3″ x 10″ end-grain maple blocks), which will be fabricated upon workshop completion and mailed to you.

Get full details about the workshop and register.
