Bryan Lee Day

July 10 @ 1:30 pm - 8:30 pm

A day of blues music, refreshments and more in honor of Bryan Lee, the “Braille Blues Daddy.”

The artist, born Brian Leroy Kumbalek in 1943 in Two Rivers, passed away last year. He began performing professionally at the age of 13 despite having completely lost his sight at age eight. He was based in New Orleans much of his career, and was a fixture on Bourbon Street since the 1980s.

Performances by Cathy Grier and the Troublemakers, Reverend Raven and the Chain Smokin’ Altar Boys featuring Andy Linderman–and more!

See the event on Facebook.
